name is Mike Natzke, and I've been involved in photography since I was
a child. It's a passion of mine that I hope to share with you
through this website. As you'll see, my subject matter is wide-ranging. I'm a generalist, not a specialist, so I like to shoot everything. If something catches my eye I shoot it. If I like what I see I look for more. This flies in the face of conventional photography wisdom, where you should stick to one thing. Boring! Photography, like life, is a journey. How can I continue to learn and expand my craft if I don't try different things and improve on what I've already learned? So what will you see? Landscapes, Flowers, Creatures, and Common everyday items. Sometimes I'm far away, sometimes close, and sometimes closer. Sometimes it's bright and cheery, and sometimes is dark and moody. I also take portraits. Now, how can I be a portrait photographer, too? Simple, by practice... and lots of it. I like have other photographers critique my work so that I can continue making better pictures. Ultimately though it's you, my customer, who decides whether the work is any good.
